  28.      following network board.

  58.      If your network board does not appear in this list, refer to your
  59.      hardware documentation to determine if your board is compatible with a
  60.      board that is on the list.  If you find a match, you can select the
  61.      compatible board type to complete the installation.  If your board is not
  62.      compatible with any of the boards listed, you will have to use the board
  63.      driver supplied with the board or provide your own board driver.  Any
  64.  
  65.      board drivers not supplied on the installation diskettes are considered
  66.      to be "other" board drivers.  Unfortunately, the installation program
  67.      fails to complete properly if "other" is selected during installation. 
  68.      To install NetWare Lite with your "other" board driver, complete the
  69.      following steps:
  70.  
  71.      Note:  See Fax Document 2856 or FYI.P.6089 for drivers added to NetWare
  72.      Lite v1.1.
  73.  
  74.      1.   Make backup copies of the original "program" and "driver" diskettes. 
  75.           If you have a 720 KB or 1.2 MB floppy drive, you can copy both
  76.           original diskettes onto one backup diskette.
  77.  
  78.      2.   Copy your board driver onto the backup diskette.  If you made a
  79.           separate backup diskette of the "program" and "driver" diskettes,
  80.           you must copy the board driver to the "driver" backup diskette.

  82.      3.   Begin the installation program as you normal; however, use each
  83.           backup diskette instead of the original.
  84.  
  85.      4.   When prompted to select a network board, verify that "other" is
  86.           highlighted and press <Enter>.  (This is in the INSTALL step 3.)

  88.      5.   When prompted to insert the diskette that contains your board
  89.           driver, simply press <Esc>.  Other Driver List should come up with
  90.           the name of your driver now in the list.
  91.  
  92.           NOTE: The "OTHER" selection will only work if your driver has a .COM
  93.           extension.
  94.  
  95.      6.   Use the arrow keys to highlight the name of your board driver and
  96.           press <Enter>.
  97.  
  98.      7.   Continue following the installation program prompts until the
  99.           program completes.
  100.  
  101.      8.   When the installation program completes, press <Esc> to exit.
  102.  
  103.           If you installed the board with nondefault settings, you will need
  104.           to create a configuration file to inform IPX.  The configuration
  105.           file is named NET.CFG and should be located in the same directory as
  106.           the other NetWare Lite program files.  The NET.CFG created by
  107.           NetWare Lite has the following format.  Refer to your hardware
  108.           documentation for information on setting up your board and what to
  109.           include in NET.CFG.
